With the new SOLARWATT Home app update, we've improved the user experience through new help screens, added support for connecting to your devices via Bluetooth to make settings changes or run firmware updates, and added notification support to the app.
What's new on the SOLARWATT Home app
- New mini-video guides and help pages have been embedded into the app to help you get to grips with how to make the best use of the user interface
- We've also added additional links for making support tickets or upgrading your system
- Did you know we also upload these to our YouTube channel?
- You can now connect via Bluetooth to your SOLARWATT Inverter/Battery.
This allows you to:- Run firmware updates for devices
- Change the Wi-Fi settings (useful if you've changed provider and need to get your devices back online)
- Adjust the brightness of your Charger's front LEDs (we know it can be a bit bright if you've installed it outdoors!)
- We've now added improved notification support to the SOLARWATT Home app.
- In the app, you're now able to choose which sort of notifications you'd like to receive.
- We've added the ability for you to give permission to SOLARWATT Support to remotely access the Home app.
- This lets our support team access your app and see what you see to let us more effectively support you.
- Support can't access your app unless you give your permission through the app settings.
- Added a mini-consumption chart to the 'Mobility' page of the app, to let you see how much your Charger is consuming
- Improved the stability of manually switching devices that support toggle switching on/off
- Other user interface enhancements have been made to improve the user experience
What's new on the SOLARWATT Manager
We've also rolled out a new update to the SOLARWATT Manager this month.
- Added support for EEBus-based EV Chargers
- Improved system stability
