We have been passionately committed to climate protection for 30 years now. We want to take responsibility for our planet and actively contribute to protecting the environment.

Guaranteed durable products.

It sounds so banal, but it is anything but simple: since Solarwatt was founded, we have only considered uncompromisingly high-quality materials. Coupled with engineering skills, we create products that are extremely robust.

CO₂ compensation for selected glass-glass modules.

We use 100% green electricity at our Dresden site. Unfortunately, however, greenhouse gas emissions are produced at other points in the supply chain over which we have no influence. That's why we offer to offset these emissions when you buy our products.

ISO-standardized processes.

We set industry-wide standards with our integrated approach of quality management in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, environmental management in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, occupational health and safety management in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 and energy management in accordance with ISO 50001: 2018.

Climate-neutral website.

Websites also need energy. We offset the energy consumption of our website with financial support for various reforestation and climate protection programs.

100% recyclable packaging
No unnecessary paper. The majority of our manuals are digitized and can be viewed anywhere.
Through our partnership with BMW, we are involved in programs to avoid and replace conflict minerals.
Safe disposal and separable materials for better recycling.

And these are just a few of the issues that are close to our hearts.

Sustainability starts at home.

For example, we have continuously increased the waste recycling rate in our solar module production and significantly reduced the energy required for production. We are also committed to procuring energy-efficient products and services that contribute to improving our energy-related performance. This also includes the use of 100 percent green electricity at our headquarters in Dresden.

As people of conviction, we all pull together at Solarwatt and pay attention to the responsible use of resources. For example, we reduce the fuel consumption and thus the_{CO2 emissions} of our field staff by planning efficient routes or offering our employees attractive options for using public transport or e-bikes.

And, of course, we also consider the social component of sustainability. This is why we regularly offer our employees qualification and further training measures and keep the proportion of fixed-term employment contracts at a low level.
