- Exchange for replacement module

- 12-year performance warranty, 10 year product warranty on Battery vision pack and Inverter vision (single-phase and three-phase)
- 2-year warranty on the DTSU 666 and DDSU 666 meters
- Guaranteed energy throughput with a defined state of health (SoH) of the battery

How to activate your warranties
Note: you don't need to activate the warranty on your solar panels - this is done automatically.
- Visit our warranty activation page.
- Enter your personal data: Enter your address and e-mail address.
- Product details: Select the products for which the warranty is to be activated.
- Enter product details: Enter the commissioning date and the serial numbers of the respective products.
- E-mail confirmation: You will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. Click on ‘Confirm now’ to finally activate the warranty.
- Receive documentation: Once the process is complete, we will send you a confirmation email with the documentation for all products and their warranty periods.

If scaffolding is needed to access the modules for removal or replacement, yes.
No, our SOLARWATT Panel vision modules do not contain such exclusions and we strive to have fair warranty terms that don't contain complex exclusion clauses like this - warranties should be worth their salt! Speaking of which, our solar panels are particularly well known for their resistance to salt air near the coast, owing to the glass-glass design we pioneered back in 1998.
(note: of course, some products, such as our SOLARWATT Manager, must be installed indoors!)
We offer 5 or 10 year warranty extension for SOLARWATT Battery and Inverter vision. These are available to purchase from our Pro shop. Purchase and activation of a warranty extension must be done within 6 months of installation and only affects the product warranty component of your warranty.

For select product lines, we do carry historical backstock for the purpose of fulfilling rare warranty claims either locally or in our international facilities.
In some cases, it's not possible to exactly replace a module (and we understand this can cause complications in the case of inverter stringing). In these cases we make an assessment on a case-by-case basis.
