There are two ways to restart SOLARWATT Manager devices:

• Disconnect from power
• Restart via the EM.Setup interface

Disconnection from the power

EnergyManager pro and Manager rail:
To disconnect the power supply, switch off the associated fuse, wait approx. 20-30 seconds and switch on again

Manager flex:
Unplug the mains plug, wait approx. 20-30 seconds and plug it back in

Restart via the EM.Setup interface

In the 'Summary' section of EM.Setup, it is possible to restart the manager by clicking the 'Restart gateway' button.

Reactive load management involves wiring Charger vision into the CHINT Meter DDSU/DTSU included with SOLARWATT Inverter vision (also sold separately), then enabling & configuring the max. current of the household incoming in the SOLARWATT Pro app. When configured, the charger's throughput will be reactively curtailed when the total throughput of the charger and household demand from the grid would exceed that of the incoming, to prevent a blackout.

Does the main AC cable have to be disconnected in this case?

The AC main (grid) cable does not need to be disconnected. The system will immediately switch back to the mains when it is available again.

The 'cable' version of our three-phase 11 kW Charger vision includes a fixed 6m long Type 2 charging cable which is permanently attached to the charger, while the 'shutter' versions include a socket to allow the customer to insert their own Type 2, Mode 3 EV Charging cable; please note there is no cable version of the single-phase 7 kW Charger vision. 

No. The system must be connected to the power grid. Permanent stand-alone ("island mode") operation is not permitted.

Our 'Battery vision' system, consisting of the individual components 'Inverter vision' 'Battery vision pack and top pack' and 'Meter', can initially be operated maintenance-free; there are no mandatory requirements for maintenance work to be carried out to preserve their function.

However, the products are electrotechnical components that can be checked for safety and function as part of a recurring inspection of electrical systems or must be checked in public buildings. The term 'maintenance services' in the Solarwatt warranty conditions is to be understood in this context. In this case, the note for maintenance work in the online manual of the product applies: 'Only qualified installers who have been trained by Solarwatt may carry out service and maintenance work on Battery vision.'
