September 2026 Update
Release Notes - Version 20.26.36
Features
Plug&Play v2.0
Improved Plug&Play device discovery and configuration updates. All discoverable energy assets can now be found via energy asset discovery, including both background-discovered and externally triggered devices. Top-level devices are no longer auto-installed and must be provisioned manually, while children of already provisioned bridges are still approved automatically. In addition, supported devices can now receive background configuration updates, for example after an IP address change.
Use Case: e.g. Two Managers within one network
You can decide which manager will install which Devices.
EM.setup
Improved texts in the inverter curtailment test now explain prerequisites and error cases more clearly. Users can better understand why a test cannot run and which power level is required.
Bugfixes
SMA Meter
Fixed an issue where some SMA Energy Meters could lose connection to the Energy Manager. Connectivity is now more stable and meters should remain online without requiring repeated reloads in EM.setup.
Gateways
Fixed an issue where gateways with a large number of assets stopped syncing some device properties to the cloud. Affected installations now transmit all properties completely again.
CHINT Meter
Fixed an issue where SOLARWATT CHINT Meter data was not considered by Optimization. Surplus calculation and PV optimization now work correctly when SOLARWATT CHINT Meter values are available.
EM.setup
Dashboard Time
The dashboard time now stays correct even when the browser tab was in the background for a longer time. Users now see the current device time again instead of an outdated display.
Sessions
Fixed a bug where the in-memory session db is dropped and login to EM.Setup is no longer possible until device reboots.
