October 2026 Update
Release Notes - Version 10.26.42.0
Overview
This release improves EM.setup with:
- clearer feedback when installing devices
- better stop-button behaviour
- full email addresses in the help section
- the same faulty-device count in every view
It also adds device and energy management features, including:
- new EEBUS heat pump connections
- several communication and performance fixes
New features & improvements
Energy management & batteries
- Block charge/discharge timeout: If meter values stop arriving, battery control is now released after 61 seconds instead of 20. Short meter data dropouts no longer interrupt battery control.
- Modbus TCP: A failed connection now fails at once instead of being retried 5 times. This stops unexpected polling delays and overloading during communication problems.
Device integrations
- SOLARWATT Battery vision clusterbox 1.0 (new): Shows total energy data for the connected inverters, batteries and meters. Limitations:
- Inverter curtailment is not supported, or only partly supported.
- Rated power is fixed at 10 kW because a Modbus register is missing.
- EEBUS "Monitored Unit": EEBUS devices that support the MPC use case can now be installed as a "Monitored Unit", even if they can't be identified as a heat pump or EV charger. These units exist only on the local device and are not sent to the cloud.
EM.setup usability
- A success message now appears after a device is added manually.
- The "Stop automatic search" button is disabled after the first click, so it's clear the stop was triggered.
Bug fixes
- Shelly Smart Switches (including Shelly Plug S Gen 3) can no longer be used in place of an inverter.
- SMA inverters no longer appear twice in the plug-and-play device list. Only the new binding detects them now.
- Faulty-device count is now the same and correct in every view.
