Customers who use flexible consumers such as an EV Charger, heat pump or battery benefit in particular from the extended energy management functions. With a smart meter and dynamic electricity tariffs, savings of up to £1,100 per year are possible.
From 14/05/2025, you can benefit from the advantages of Home plus and test the extended functions free of charge until Home plus becomes a paid service in March 2026.

Real-time monitoring
The SOLARWATT Manager records all energy flows in your home - from generation to consumption by your devices and feed-in to the grid.
The SOLARWATT Home app provides you with a summarized overview of the consumers in the individual sectors. With SOLARWATT Home plus, on the other hand, you can see every device in detail. This gives you a complete overview of your energy consumption at all times.
Individual solar generation forecast
An intelligent energy system not only takes into account the available PV surplus, but also adjusts consumption to the current electricity prices.
Dynamic electricity prices that fluctuate over the course of the day can therefore lead to considerable cost savings.
Historical consumption & generation data
Consumption data going back more than a week is crucial for the Analytics of your energy behavior.
They make it possible to identify trends and understand which measures have led to a reduction in energy costs - and which have not.
Individual consumption forecast
The SOLARWATT Manager analyzes your consumption habits and creates a forecast for the rest of the day. This allows you to make informed decisions - for example, when it makes sense to charge the battery from the grid.

Individual forecast of solar generation
Your SOLARWATT Manager evaluates current weather data and creates a forecast of solar power generation for the next three days.
This forecast is used to specifically optimize the energy consumption of individual devices.
Switching smart devices on and off
With the SOLARWATT Manager, you can integrate almost all devices into your energy management - either directly, such as an EV Charger or heat pump, or indirectly via smart plugs such as the Shelly plus plug UK.
Televisions, washing machines, or other smaller consumers can also be intelligently controlled via the SOLARWATT Manager portal and, if desired, only switched on when there is a PV surplus.
Saving batteries from the grid with fast charging function
Your home battery system can not only save self-generated electricity from your rooftop, but also draw cheap electricity from the grid (see "dynamic electricity tariffs"). This means you always have access to the cleanest and cheapest electricity.
Thanks to the quick-charging function, you can save your battery with cheap grid electricity and use it later when the electricity price rises again.
EV charging from the grid with fast-charging function
You can charge your electric car either with surplus electricity from your roof or with cheap grid electricity.
We optimize the charging process so that your car is charged at times when electricity prices are particularly low - so you can drive with the cleanest and cheapest electricity available.
Setting schedules
The SOLARWATT Manager gives you full control over electricity consumption in your household. You can individually define when certain devices are allowed to consume electricity and when they are not.
This is particularly practical for devices like immersion heating elements. Adjust the schedules for weekdays and weekends to optimize operating costs and control comfort.
Setting the minimum operation time per device and day
You can set a minimum operation time per day for each device. For example, you could specify that the heating element or pool pump should run for at least 4 hours a day.
The Manager automatically selects the most efficient hours of the day to optimize consumption.
Optimization of appliance consumption on solar power
The heart of the SOLARWATT Manager is the intelligent optimization of appliance consumption. With solar power optimization, you operate larger consumers primarily when your PV plants are generating electricity.

Consumption analysis
The SOLARWATT Manager records and saves data on your consumption behavior, the solar power yield and the current electricity prices.

State of charge
With the SOLARWATT Manager, you always have everything in view - from the charge level of your battery to the temperature of the buffer tank.

Yes, if you are using the SOLARWATT Manager flex or a Manager in a black housing, your system is fully compatible with SOLARWATT Home plus.
No, if you have the SOLARWATT Manager pro or a Manager in a gray housing. This older generation does not support all the new functions. However, you can continue to use the previous functions or upgrade to the current Manager. Ask your installer about this.
Yes, if you use the SOLARWATT Battery vision, your system is fully compatible with SOLARWATT Home plus.
No, if you are using the SOLARWATT MyReserve or a battery from another manufacturer. These devices do not offer all the new functions. However, you can still benefit from self-consumption optimization.
